Muscle Up Personal Training Centre opened its doors on February 1st, 2001. Owner and founder Frances Michaelson's mission was to create an environment where health enthusiasts would enjoy the benefits of a personal trainer on a weekly basis, and at the same time have unlimited use of the facility at no extra charge. A unique concept on the West Island of Montreal!!!
We actually want you to use our facility! As a fitness and training studio, we differentiate ourselves from a standard fitness gym because we operate from a "quality of experience" focus versus a pure volume model like most large clubs. You see, there are a lot of people out there who pay for a gym membership but never actually use them. And that's a critical aspect of a gym membership - you actually have to use it to get results! How Does It Work? Unlike a generic gym or health club, there is no membership fee. At Muscle Up, the philosophy is based on the theory that training once a week with a personal trainer will keep you on track, help you stay motivated and most importantly, achieve the results you're looking for. Does this mean that you only come and work out once a week? No. It means that any other day during the week that you come to work out is free! You pay only for your personal training session.
